District of ColumbiaAdam Higgs joined the firm in 2019 and became an Associate Attorney with the firm the same year. In 2022, after advising over 200 clients in investigations, disciplinary and clearance proceedings, and litigation, the firm promoted Mr. Higgs to Senior Associate.
In law school, Mr. Higgs worked first as a Dean’s Fellow to Vice Dean Tony Varona at American University’s Washington College of Law and later as a legal intern in the General Services Administration’s General Counsel’s Office. During his final year, Mr. Higgs worked as a student attorney in the Law Students in Court Program defending indigent tenants in Washington, DC’s Landlord-Tenant Court.
Originally from Tennessee, Mr. Higgs completed his undergraduate studies in 2015 at Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with minors in Economics and International Relations. Mr. Higgs received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University’s Law Center in 2018.
He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
